What is the Landmark Rush boost in Monopoly GO?
The Monument Rush event allows, for a limited time, to earn 10 dice and money for each fully constructed building. In Monopoly GO, a fully constructed building is equal to 6 building upgrades. This means that to build your village, you need to construct a total of 5 buildings, which will earn you 50 dice and money.
The Rush to the Monument boost allows you to earn dice and money for as long as it lasts. You will earn dice and money for each building you complete, which is interesting. Of course, the amount of money you earn depends on your level in the game: the higher your level, the more money you earn.
This boost can therefore be very useful for earning extra rewards when building your board.
How to use the Monument Rush boost effectively?
Now that you know what the Land Grab boost is for and how often it appears, you can try out different Monopoly GO strategies. I'm going to share some tips and methods that I use myself for the Land Grab event.
- Combine monument rush + plateau rush
When possible (when both boosts can be activated at the same time), using the Rush to the Monument and Rush to the Plateau boosts can be a good way to earn even more dice and money. This is because the Rush to the Plateau boost allows you to earn dice and money when you complete an entire village. So... if you manage to combine both boosts, you will earn rewards when a building is fully constructed, and then a second time when the board is fully completed.
- Combine Monument Rush + Builder Rush
The Builders Rush boost allows you to construct your buildings at up to 50% off the original price. So if you manage to combine the Rush boost on monuments with the Builders Rush boost, you will be able to construct even more buildings than originally planned, and thus earn many more rewards.
- Ideal: Rush on monuments + Rush on the plateau + Rush on builders
As you might expect, the ideal scenario is to combine all three boosts to maximize your dice and money winnings. However, it is difficult to combine all three boosts at the same time, but keep in mind that if you manage to do so, it can be worthwhile because you maximize your winnings!
- Store your Monopoly GO money
Here's a simple tip: keep your money in your account until a Monument Rush event comes along. In reality, experienced players don't build their buildings as soon as they have a little money.
