Monument rush events can appear quite a few times a week. What is the Monument Rush boost on Monopoly GO?
For a limited time, the Monument Rush event allows you to win 10 dice and money for each fully constructed building. In Monopoly GO, a fully constructed building is equal to 6 building upgrades. In other words, to build your village, you need to construct 5 buildings in total, so you'll get 50 dice and money.
The Monument Rush boost earns you dice and money for the duration of the monument. Interestingly, you'll earn dice and money for each building you complete. Of course, the amount of money you earn depends on your level in the game: the higher your level, the more money you earn.
This boost can therefore be very useful for earning extra rewards when building your board.
How to use the Monument Rush boost effectively?
Now that you know what the Monument Rush boost is for and how often it appears, you can try your hand at different Monopoly GO strategies. I'm going to give you a few tips and methods I've used myself for the Monument Rush event.
- Combine monument rush + plateau rush
When possible (when both boosts can be activated at the same time), using the Monument Rush and Plateau Rush boosts can be a great way to earn even more dice and money. In fact, the Ruée sur le plateau boost allows you to earn dice and money when you finish a village in its entirety. So... if you manage to combine the two boosts, you'll earn rewards when a building is fully constructed, and then a second time when the entire plateau is finished.
- Combine Monument Rush + Builder Rush
The Builder's Rush boost allows you to build your buildings at up to -50 % off the initial price. So if you can link the Monument Rush and Builder Rush boosts, you'll be able to build even more buildings than originally planned, and earn many more rewards in the process.
- Ideal: Monument rush + Plateau rush + Builder rush
As you'd expect, the ideal situation is to link all three boosts to maximize your dice and cash winnings. However, it's difficult to link all three boosts at the same time, but if you manage to do so, it's worthwhile maximizing your winnings!
- Store your Monopoly GO money
A simple tip: keep your money in your account until a Monument Rush event arrives. In reality, experienced players don't build their buildings as soon as they have a bit of money - no, no, no! They store their money until they have a boost like Monument Rush to build their various buildings in a single game session. Given that the Monument Rush boost lasts several hours, you have plenty of time to build many villages.
