The decision not to go through with a sale can happen to anyone. You have a lot of reason to do so, however, you have to make the right decision before it's too late.
Cancel a sale on Vinted
Canceling a sale on Vinted is not impossible. Provided the item has not yet been shipped to the buyer. In order to cancel the sale, here is how to do it:
- First, start by opening the chat screen with the buyer;
- Click on the “i” that is on the upper right corner;
- Then choose “cancel transaction”;
- Then select the reason;
- You can also write your own reason by choosing Other.
However, it is important to know that:
- Mutual agreement between Buyer and Seller on canceling an order will allow Buyer to avoid automatic negative feedback;
- For the seller, if an item is cancelled, you can click reload on the conversation screen to make the item available again.
Delete an item listed on Vinted
The seller can also remove or hide an item for sale on Vinted to stop receiving unsolicited offers. To do this, here's how:
- Start by clicking on your profile picture;
- Then select My profile;
- Then, open the list of items you want to remove or hide;
- Finally, click Hide or Delete depending on the action you want to perform.
A hidden item will no longer be visible on the feed, the catalog and your closet. You can also hide all of your items using vacation mode.
