The game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the work of the small Sandfall Interactive's French team composed of around thirty people, spread across seven departments.
Sandfall Interactive was founded in 2020. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the team's first project. And even though this is the team's first venture, the RPG has accumulated incredible scores worldwide since its release in April 2025.
This is, moreover,’one of the best-rated games on Metacritic since the beginning of the year. The global success of the French team's work has also earned Sandfall Interactive widespread praise, including those of the President of the Republic.
