RSL: Patch Notes (08.12.22) Update 6.30.0

We have a brand new Dungeon, a new way to empower Artifacts, Champion balance changes, and some updates and fixes. Let's dive into what's new in Raid version 6.30.0:

The Ascension of Artifacts and the Sand Demon Necropolis

Artifact Ascension unlocks at Level 38, and allows you to make Artifacts even more powerful. When an Artifact is first Ascended, it gains an Ascension Bonus – an additional stat that can be upgraded with each Level of Ascension. The Ascension Bonus cannot be removed or modified, and does not change even after an Artifact is reworked.


To Ascend an Artifact, it must be at least Rank 4 and upgraded to Level 12.

You don't need Money to Breed Artifacts. You do, however, need a new resource – Oil, which you can earn by raiding the Sand Demon Necropolis.

It's in the Sand Demon Necropolis that you'll face a tough new boss – Al-Naemeh the Sand Demon. He has skills that will ignore your defenses, and he can withstand almost any attack. Unlike other Bosses in Raid however, using this debuff is crucial to defeating him.

In this Dungeon, you can also earn Silver, Ancient Shards, and XP.

You can get more information on Ascending Artifacts and Al-Naemeh by consulting the Game Guides. Once in the Ascending Artifacts menu, press the “i” icon. For a full analysis of Al-Naemeh's skills, click on the "Boss Guide" button in the Team Selection menu of the Sand Demon Necropolis.

We have also added a new Advanced Quest related to Artifact Ascension.

Tower of Doom Secret Room Rewards Changes

Once you've collected all Fragments from all Champions on a given difficulty, Secret Room Rewards change depending on the next Boss Floor. For example, Secret Room 1 will give you Floor 10 Boss Materials, Secret Room 2 will give you Floor 20 Boss Materials, and so on. For example, if the Boss of Floor 10 is Agreth the Void Spider, Secret Room 1 will reward you with Void Eggs.

Note: If you have collected all Champion Fragments on Normal difficulty, you can obtain Forge Materials from Secret Rooms on Normal difficulty. Rewards from Secret Rooms on Hard difficulty will remain Champion Fragments until all Champions of that difficulty have been collected.

Changed daily login rewards

If you have collected all 6 Champions Fragments available through the Daily Login Program, you will now receive Soul Stones from the slots that previously contained those Fragments – 5 Deadly Soulstones and 1 Immortal Soulstone in total .

Auto-Climb Mode in Tower of Woe

Auto Climb mode will allow you to automatically climb Floors (excluding Boss Floors and Secret Rooms) one by one, making your progress through the Tower of Woe much smoother. To enable Auto-Climb mode, check the “Start Auto-Climb” box in the Team Select menu. You can stop Auto-Climb mode at any time during the fight via the pause menu. Auto Escalation will also stop if you lose a fight, don't have enough Gold Keys for the next Floor, or if the next Floor is a Boss Floor.

Extension of Personal Third Parties

More players will now start CvC tournaments in Personal Tiers II and VI, and there will be fewer players in Tier I.

New Avatars

We have added two new Avatars to the Standard Avatars section. They are Taras and Marichka, two Ukrainian-themed Champions who will soon join the fight for Teleria. You can experience these new Avatars by selecting your Avatar in the Settings window.

New festive decorations in the Stronghold

Winter has come to Teleria! Check out the new seasonal decorations in the Bastion and enjoy the holidays with some of your favorite Champions. Galek and Zargala are definitely in the holiday spirit – you can see them face off in a snowball fight for posterity.

Changes to champions:

1. Pyxniel

[Charm Master] Attack 1 enemy. Square a [Perfect Veil] buff for 1 turn on the ally with the lowest HP.

[Stalactite Dam] Damage increased.
Attack all enemies. Has 80% chance to place a [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn.

Gelweaver [P] Effect Active CD 5 turns (2 if booked).

[Passive Effect]

Immune to [Freeze] debuffs.

Fills this Champion's Turn Meter with 25% each time an ally receives a [Freeze] debuff.

[Active Effect]

At the end of each enemy or ally turn, remove [Freeze] debuffs from all allies.

If several Champions have this Skill in the team, only one will remove the [Freeze] debuffs from all allies.

  • Lvl. 2: Cooldown-1
  • Lvl. 3: Cooldown-1
  • Lvl. 4: Cooldown-1

2. Belanor

[Insurmountable] Attack all enemies. Places a [DEF Reduction] debuff of 60% and a [Weaken] debuff of 25% for 2 turns. Unable to resist these debuffs if Zavia is on the same team.

Also places a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

[Tactical Partner] Activate skill [Slaughter] of this Champion.

Also activates Zavia's [Poison Rain] skill if she is in the same team.

3. Alika

[Disorient] Attacks all enemies. Has 75% chance to increase by 2 turns the duration of skill cooldowns of all enemies.

4. Crypt Witch (CryptWitch)

[Dismount] Attack 3 random times. Each hit has a 75% chance to place a [DEF Reduction] debuff of 60% for 2 turns. Each strike will also ignore 15% of the target's DEF.

[Not So Fast] Attack 1 enemy. Will ignore 50% of target's DEF if this Champion has a higher SPD than the target.

Other combat improvements and fixes

  • Added "Money Spent" notification after instant upgrading Artifacts.
    Added auto-scroll to the highest available Stage in Dungeons, Faction Wars, and Campaign.
  • Added information to the Referral Program and Recall Quests guide on the criteria Referred Players must meet.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Mighty Ukko from placing [Block Buffs] and [Decrease PRE] debuffs on the Hydra with his Ukko's Fury skill, even though the Hydra had no active buffs.
  • Fixed a visual bug where Ninja would become visible when the [Veil] buff he was receiving was changed to a [Perfect Veil] buff.
  • Fixed a visual bug that caused Champions to appear under the effect of a [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buff at the start of a new Round, if the previous Round was ended by Truath's Look at Me skill.

  • Fixed a bug that caused an error message to appear when double-clicking or double-tapping on articles in the Guides and FAQs section.
  • Fixed a bug that redirected players to the wrong Artifact Set in the Forge when selecting a specific Quest from the Advanced Quest menu.
  • Fixed a bug where players would not receive Demon Lord Chests after dealing damage to the Demon Lord as a member of their new Clan, if they had previously dealt damage and received Chests as a member of their former Clan.
  • Red dot indicators will now appear on the Profile tab and on your Avatar in the Settings window when you get a new Avatar.
