Who owns Raid Shadow Legends?
The person who owns Raid Shadow Legends is Plarium. Since February 28, 2019 (creation of RSL).
Plarium is an Israel-based developer and publisher of mobile, social and web games. In simple terms, they create games for the Appstore, social media platforms and some PC games.
Plarium was founded in 2009 by Avraham Shalel, Gabi Shalel, Illya Turpiashvili, Haim Turpiashvili, Ivan Vorobeychyk, Michel Morovsky and Yaron Hakimi in Herzliya, Israel.
They now have offices in Israel, the USA, Russia and Ukraine.
The company began by developing games for the Eastern European casual gaming market, such as Farmandia on the Russian social network Vkontakte (essentially Facebook adapted for Eastern European users). In 2011, it began developing MMOs and, in February 2011, launched Total Domination: Nuclear Strategy, reaching 20 million users.
On August 10, 2017, Plarium was acquired by Aristocrat Leisure LTD.
Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) is a global gaming content and technology company and mobile games publisher. The company has two business units: Aristocrat Gaming and Pixel United. Pixel United encompasses the Product Madness, Plarium and Big Fish Games businesses.
